The Incomplete Guide ~ Yankees World Series Programs

The New York Yankees hold the Major League record with 27 World Series championships and 41 appearances in the Fall Classic.

Beginning in 1974, Major League Baseball assumed responsibility for publishing the official World Series program. Before 1974, each participating team produced its own program for games played at its home ballpark.

Below are 31 World Series program covers scanned from my personal collection. Ten programs are still missing, all from the years 1921 through 1938. The link beneath each pre-1974 program cover allows you to view both the Yankees’ program cover and their opponent’s program cover. While the collection includes many historic editions, it remains incomplete, with numerous programs still missing.
