Notable: The Yankees bring the publication process of the “Sketch Book” in house and rename it “Yankees Yearbook”, the title which still remains intact today. Jersey numbers were added to each player’s bio page.

Notable: First year Jay Publishing published yearbooks for all 16 Major League teams including the Yankees. There is a “Not Official” note printed on the first page of every yearbook.

Notable: Page eight honors Yogi Berra who won his third MVP in 1954. Last season for Phil (Scooter) Rizzuto.
