Notable: In 1975 the Yankees commemorated the 25th anniversary edition of the New York Yankees Yearbook by including a picture of each yearbook on the cover. Unfortunately, it was the 26th year of publication. Team officials failed to realize there was a 1950 Sketch Book, assuming 1951 was the inaugural edition.

Notable: Billy Martin becomes manager (pg. 45) of the Yankees for the first time, as he replaces Bill Virdon.

Notable: Willie Randolph’s first season with the Yankees (also in previous edition).

There are a number of differences to identify edition, here are a few: pg. 17 Catfish Hunter’s picture is color in 1st, B&W in 2nd. Page 33 Tom Robson bio is replaced with “Yankee All-Star Game selections (1933 to 1975)”.
